most notable feature: starts with two uncursed scrolls of genocide

I decided that I can't play nethack vanilla 3.6.7.

floating eyes and nymphs have ruined the game for me.

They are roadblocks that end a game if you run into them accidentally.

I prefer to play fast, very fast, and they drag the player down into the
slow dimension.

As far as I know no other monsters cause such an intense detriment to
player speed.

I've created material for ns-2 (as an example of my c skills), and I
think I'm capable of getting my way.

This overlaps the wizard who often start with one scroll of genocide. I
can use that to knock out nymphs because they are the more annoying of
the two. Also I think it would overpower bones files if scrolls of
genocide started showing up en masse. Back to the drawing board.

Sorry, I've simmered down now. That nymph really got to me, but it's
not an everyday thing.

Are you using the advanced movement commands (travel command, and
"move until there's something important" command)? - Makes things
general easier (for me), without sacrificing a speedy play.

Re (floating eyes): So getting reflection is high priority for you,
I assume?

Re (nymphs): And stealth against nymphs. Plus the habit to not wake
them up, in the first place.

(Too cryptic for me to understand.)

It seems there are three different speeds and I use the one in the
middle. I was avoiding move until important because it makes decisions
for the player at forks sometimes.

Wow. That's a spoiler. I've used the mirror before, but never the " of
reflection (or polished shield). Sounds formidable.

This nymph was sleeping in the hallway at the end of several curves on
the path "deadman's curve."

I didn't want the food consumption required to catch the nymph. I
forgot that samurai are better than average at martial arts.

It's similar in many ways. Open source and general enough to do just
about anything. It is written in C++.

This got me interested in looking through the source in-depth -- I
installed Linux on a computer here; I've gotten started.

* * *

I haven't thought out any negatives of the S)avant for the sake of
balancing purposes. Like EvilHack's C)onvict who starts out attached to
a ball and chain. Pretty tough. All I've decided on so far is a spear
as a starting weapon, and dwarf availability to go with that. If I'm
inspired I will stitch in a voulge as an alternate starting weapon like
the barbarian has two different. Voulges are no-nonsense polearms.
