Had a promising valkyrie in the mine's end. Mjollnir, AC -8, -5 with rotting and rust. Peaceful Archlich was blocking paths, teleporting to just in front of valkyrie and making it hell to go anywhere. Attacked archlich to get it out of
the way but was quickly subdued. Is there any consideration of making peaceful monsters not block path? Peaceful archlich is still a menace.

What I usually do here is a) patiently waiting it to free the next
square towards the next stairs and b) luring it to the other level
then once you reached the stairs. (On mines-end level [in Vanilla]
there's just stair, of course.)

To-be-3.7 lets you swap places with most peaceful monsters
(shopkeepers are one exception, there are some others) in
addition to doing that with pets.
